Residency Leadership Summit
You are personally invited to a three day summit for collaboration and action.
Residency is on the rise, and together we have an opportunity to shape how the next generation of Church leaders is formed. PreachFor is extending a personal invitation to you to collaborate, contribute, and tackle the biggest challenges facing church residencies. Join a select group of church residency leaders from across the nation for meaningful conversation, fresh perspectives, practical insights, and fellowship. Together, we'll explore how to strengthen the formation of the next generation of Church leaders.

How Do We Overcome Challenges to Equipping and Developing Future Leaders?
Meeting the Challenge of Recruitment
Recruitment is far and beyond the most pressing challenge faced by residencies today. Churches need a better strategy for reaching the next generation of ministry leaders.
Program Support: Funding, Senior Leader Investment, and Sustaining Staff
Support is more than just a matter of finances— it’s a battle for the time, investment, and priority of church leaders. Churches need a fuller vision that invests in residents without neglecting practical demands.
Mentoring Gen Z & the Next Big Advancement
Mentorship is the instrument of introspection, growth, and new discovery for residents. A new generation needs mentors who know how to reach them and help them reach higher.
Share best practices, research, and strategies for residency recruitment and engagement.
Everyone’s full participation across the three days encourages a small-group, dialogue-driven roundtable format. With keynote speakers, breakout topic sessions and participant-led discussions, we will distill the group’s own thinking into short summary presentations.
Mark Lanier, founder of the Lanier Theological Library & Learning Center, has been invited to speak at the Church Residency Summit. Check back to this event page for more details about speakers.
