Host Churches
PreachFor collaborates with flourishing churches across the United States to welcome PreachFor America Fellows.
Host churches will invest their time, talent and gifts of the Spirit into our PreachFor America Fellows.
Within these nurturing congregations, Fellows will learn and experience firsthand what good leadership looks like, and how excellent preaching inspires communities toward Christ.
Churches that have already expressed intent to host PreachFor America Fellows include:
PreachFor will bring to Host Churches:
An emerging leader who has been recruited, prayerfully evaluated, and presented to the church for a Fellowship
Access to a network of support and relationships for pastors and their team through relationships, prayer, and retreat gatherings
PreachFor plans to make a financial grant to Host Churches, provide coaching for mentors and Fellows, and assist with the coordination regarding the Master’s degree programs
In turn, Host Churches will offer to:
Employ the Fellow with meaningful, full-time pastoral work in the church
Provide mentorship from a member of the pastoral team and a member of the congregation
Surround the Fellow and PreachFor in prayer
“We are witnessing a generational cliff in church leadership—not because God has stopped calling but because we have stopped investing. The PreachFor America Fellowship is a bold, Spirit-filled answer to this crisis. It’s not too late— the time to act is now.”
— Rev. Kellen Smith
Senior Pastor, First Presbyterian Church, Wheaton, Ill.
“Now more than ever the world needs what the Church has to offer—God’s good news of grace, hope and love. But there is a critical shortage of voices prepared to proclaim and live it. PreachFor is not a gamble—it’s a sacred investment in the next generation of Gospel leaders. If you care about the Church, you should care about The PreachFor America Fellowship.”
— Rev. Dr. Tom Evans
Senior Pastor, Brick Church, NYC
“The Church’s future will not be built on programs or platforms—but on leaders. PreachFor trains the kind of young leaders our churches long for: rooted in Scripture, resilient in calling, and ready to preach and lead in the way of Christ with clarity, character, and conviction.”
— Rev. Steve Carter
Lead Pastor, Christ Church, Oak Brook, Ill.
